The Bugle Call: Song of War, a fantasy manga by Mozuku Sora and Higoro Tōmori, is set to receive a television anime adaptation in 2027. The anime will be produced by CyberAgent's CA Soa studio, with Shinya Watada directing and Michiro Tsuchiya handling the series scripts. Michinori Chiba designs the characters, and Hitomi Kotō composes the music. The anime's action animation is handled by Hiroshi Arisawa, with Kanetake Ebikawa as concept designer and Takayuki Yanase as prop designer. Shirogumi is in charge of the CG animation. Viz Media publishes the series in English, describing it as a story about Luca, a bugler in a mercenary company who becomes a muse of massacre after being marked as one of the enigmatic Branch-hexed and gifted with the ability to see the sound of his instrument. The manga, launched in Shueisha's Jump SQ. magazine in June 2022, moved to the seasonal Jump SQ. RISE magazine in April 2026. Shueisha shipped the 13th compiled book volume on February 4, 2026, with the manga heading toward its final battle. Viz Media released the sixth volume in English on April 7, 2026.
